The Brief#
Calibrium is an online watch store based in Singapore. When I started, their website could display their watches, but that was about it. Customers were not able to create an account, place an order or save the watches they liked.
As a freelance developer, my job was to turn the website into a proper online store that could take orders from customers.
What I Added#
I developed everything a shopper needs from start to finish: registration and login, a profile page, checkout with payment, order history, favourites and an automatic confirmation email after every order.
Browsing, paying and receiving a confirmation email now all happen in one smooth flow.
How I Built It#
The store is built with Next.js, React and TypeScript, together with Tailwind CSS, Zustand, Strapi CMS and Node.js.
I agreed on the scope of work with the client at the start, then tested every change myself before it went live.

How I Used AI#
Built with Claude Code
I used Claude Code, an AI coding assistant, to speed up the more repetitive parts of the build. I agreed on the scope of work with the client beforehand, and I reviewed and tested every change myself before it went live, so I was responsible for everything that was shipped.
