Situation#
Glovida-RX is a digital healthcare platform that streamlines prescription management between doctors, pharmacists and patients. Product prices and medication details were not always updating correctly between the doctor and pharmacist roles, so someone could end up looking at outdated information.
Task#
As a Full-stack Developer at Amber Creative, I was responsible for fixing these updates, so that every role would see the same, up-to-date information.
Action#
I fixed the dynamic state updates in the key UI components, so a change made by one role now shows up correctly for everyone else. I then improved the backend state handling between the pharmacist and doctor roles.
I worked with Next.js, React, TypeScript and GraphQL, and used TablePlus to inspect the data while tracing the issues.

Result#
Doctors and pharmacists now see accurate prices and medication details in real time, so they can make faster and more reliable decisions.
